Friday, 24 November 2023 India and the EU signed an MoU on semiconductors to strengthen the supply chains and promote cooperation in research, innovation, talent development, partnerships, and market information exchange. The Trade and Technology Council meeting discussed the progress made by the TTC working groups on strategic technologies, clean energy, resilient supply chains, and trade issues. Both sides expressed satisfaction and emphasized the need for practical outcomes and stakeholder consultations. They agreed to hold the next TTC meeting in India alongside the India-EU Summit.
This edition of State of the Union focuses on the enlargement "Big Bang" in 2004, speculation about new political alliances after the elections and sizeable cracks in the block of far-right parties.
