1st statute tweak ‘curbed’ free speech: PM Modi

The 44th amendment restored powers to the judiciary and allowed judicial review of the election process. PM Modi recalls the adoption of the Constitution on November 26, 1949, and the decision to observe this day as Constitution Day.
