Training of officials for counting of votes in Mizoram

Mizoram Election department trains officials for vote counting through Encore portal; over 4,000 personnel involved. Counting on December 3 at 13 centres with 40 halls, 399 EVM tables, and 56 postal ballot tables. Full proof security arrangements made. Appeal to reschedule counting date due to Sunday being a sacred day for Christians. Peaceful polling held on November 7 with over 80% turnout. Parties contesting 40 seats each, with 18 female candidates. MNF won 26 seats in last polls.
