No phones inside counting centres: Poll officials brief collectors & SPs on security

Deputy Election Commissioner Ajay Bhadoo and CEO Anupam Rajan conducted a video conference in Bhopal with officials from Madhya Pradesh. Security arrangements for vote counting were discussed, including restrictions on unauthorized individuals entering the counting center and the prohibition of mobile phones and calculators. Guidelines were provided for maintaining a systematic approach at the counting centers. Officials were urged to prevent the dissemination of false information. Training for counting votes recorded in EVMs was emphasized, along with strict adherence to protocols during the postal ballot counting process.
