'Gray war zone' in South China sea a cause of concern: Indian Navy
Friday, 1 December 2023
Indian Navy considers maritime security threats, such as maritime terrorism, piracy, robbery, IUU fishing, and drug/human/arm trafficking, as 'gray war zone' concerns in the South China Sea. The Navy is closely monitoring and analyzing these activities in real-time. Indian Navy's western naval command will host the Navy Day celebrations in Malwan, Sindhudurg, to mark Chhatrapati Shivaji's 350th coronation anniversary. Indian Navy is determined to be self-reliant, having commissioned 21 ships and five submarines in the last nine years.
