₹ 1 crore-plus offers made, but IIT placements off to slow start
Premier IITs began placements; the question remains if it will be a happy season. Around 350 companies participated at IIT-Bombay, with fewer job announcement forms this year compared to last year. The first day saw 40 companies holding interviews, and 80% of regular recruiters participated. Notable companies include Google, Apple, Microsoft, Barclays, Qualcomm. Some regular consultancy firms are missing this year. IIT-Roorkee secured international and domestic offers, highest international salary compared to last year.
