Three men from Andhra Pradesh were arrested in Missouri for holding a Telugu youth captive and subjecting him to physical and mental abuse. The individuals, Venkatesh Reddy Sattaru, Nikhil Penmatsa, and Sravan Penumetcha, were charged with human trafficking, kidnapping, and abuse. The victim, a relative of Sattaru, was taken to Sattaru's homes where he was forced to do household chores, work for Sattaru's IT company, and endure physical violence. He was locked in a basement, beaten, and sustained multiple injuries. The accused were imprisoned without bond.
