A think tank has urged India to address misconceptions about the contribution of global trade to carbon emissions during the United Nations climate change conference COP28 in Dubai. The think tank also suggested that India highlight the need for the World Trade Organization (WTO) to focus on regulating trade and not encroach on areas managed by specialized agencies. Additionally, India should raise concerns about the potential conflicts.
