The BJP office in Bhopal witnessed enthusiastic celebrations as the party was set to retain power in Madhya Pradesh with a substantial lead over the Congress. The BJP secured eight seats and led in 161 constituencies, while the Congress managed to win one seat and was ahead in 60 constituencies, as per the Election Commission. The BJP office was filled with jubilant scenes, with workers dancing, hugging, and distributing sweets. In contrast, the Congress office appeared deserted, with party leaders Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh engaged in discussions in their war room.
