After the saffron wave in the Hindi heartland, all eyes are now on Mizoram as it reveals its mandate on Monday. The counting of votes in the Christian-majority state was postponed by a day due to its religious significance. The four major contenders in the 40-member legislative assembly election are the ruling Mizo National Front (MNF), Zoram People's Movement (ZPM), Congress, and BJP. Exit polls predict a close race between the MNF and ZPM, with the possibility of a hung assembly.
