South Tuipui assembly election results 2023: ZPM’s Jeje Lalpekhlua leading with 4203 votes, MNF's Dr R Lalthangliana and INC's C Laldintluanga trailing behind
Monday, 4 December 2023 The counting of votes in South Tuipui commenced at 8 am, and initial trends are expected shortly. The Indian National Congress (INC) has nominated C Laldintluanga for the South Tuipui (ST) constituency, while MNF has named Dr R Lalthangliana as its candidate. Jeje Lalpekhlua is contesting from Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM).
ZPM secured around 40%, MNF less than 35%, and Congress over 20% of the total votes. BJP led in three seats with 4.26% vote share. ZPM anticipates a sweeping victory in the northeast state, with EC declaring two wins and leading in 27 seats.
