Mizoram: ZPM set to form government in state, CM aspirant Lalduhoma to meet Governor on Tuesday

Zoram People's Movement (ZPM) is set to form the government in Mizoram as per the Election Commission trends. ZPM is leading in 26 out of 40 seats, with 7 wins so far. The incumbent party, Mizo National Front (MNF), is trailing with 11 seats. ZPM's victories include defeating prominent leaders of MNF. ZPM Chief Ministerial candidate Lalduhoma plans to meet the Governor to stake claim for the government formation. Mizoram's political landscape has been dominated by Congress and MNF since 1987.
