BJP win in state polls not INDIA bloc's defeat as opposition did not contest together: Omar Abdullah
Omar Abdullah, Vice President of the National Conference, stated that the BJP's victory in the assembly polls in three states is not a defeat for the INDIA bloc. He clarified that the opposition parties did not contest the polls together, and therefore, it cannot be considered a defeat of the INDI alliance. Abdullah further emphasized that the elections were fought separately by the parties, including the Congress, SP, and AAP. He also mentioned the need for the alliance to assess the damage caused by the statements made by some alliance members against each other during the elections.
