Karni outfit chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi shot dead at his Jaipur home
Tuesday, 5 December 2023 Gunmen from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, posing as visitors, killed Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the chief of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, at his office-cum-residence in Jaipur's Shyam Nagar. The attackers also shot and wounded three individuals outside the house. Gogamedi had received threats to his life and had strict visitor screening measures in place. CCTV footage captured the gunmen shooting Gogamedi and a second victim, Naveen Shekhawat, who is believed to be an accomplice. The Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the killing.

NTA DG Subodh Kumar Singh addressed concerns regarding the NEET exam, stating that a committee reviewed centre details and CCTV footage, finding time discrepancies at some centres. As a result, compensation was given to affected students by increasing their marks, leading to new top scorers. Singh emphasised that only 6 out of 4750 centres were affected, impacting 1600 students out of 24 lakh. A tragic incident in Pune has left two people dead after a 17-year-old, speeding in a Porsche, collided with a motorbike. CCTV footage revealed the car was travelling well above the posted speed limits before the collision, which resulted in the deaths of two IT professionals from Madhya Pradesh, Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta.
