Lobbying begins for Telangana ministerial berths; Congress mulling 3 deputy CMs

Congress leaders lobby for ministerial berths in new Telangana government. Revanth Reddy named chief minister, to be sworn in on Thursday. Names of Bhatti Vikramarka and D Anasuya (Seethakka) considered for deputy chief minister. Party think tank proposes three deputy chief ministers, one from SC, BC, and minority community. Final decision on deputy chief ministers to be taken in Delhi. Congress MPs retain assembly seats, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy likely to get important portfolio. Vinod and Vivek, Komatireddy Venkat and Komatireddy Raj Gopal, Uttam and Padmavathi win assembly elections. Two to four women candidates likely to get ministerial berths, including Konda Surekha, Seethakka, and Padmavathi Reddy. Debutants Yashaswini Reddy and Chittem Parnika Reddy hoping for reward. Megha Reddy, Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar Goud also in race for cabinet berth.
