205 of 230 MLAs in Madhya Pradesh are crorepatis; BJP MLA richest: ADR
Thursday, 7 December 2023 The newly-elected MLAs in Madhya Pradesh, including those from the Bharat Adivasi Party (BAP), have declared their assets. Out of the 230 MLAs, a total of 205 are crorepati, with the highest declared assets being Rs 296 crore. The BJP has the majority of crorepati MLAs, with 144, followed by Congress with 61. The average assets of the MLAs have increased from Rs 10.17 crore in 2018 to Rs 11.7 crore. The BJP won 163 seats in the assembly polls, while Congress won 66 seats.
