As careers delay parenthood, companies offer fertility benefits

More companies are offering fertility benefit programmes with higher financial support to the employees who delay parenthood. These programmes empower individuals to focus on their careers without worrying about the biological clock. Merck's 'fertility benefit program' provides up to Rs 10 lakh of financial support for treatments. A study shows that 62% of the top 100 companies in India reimburse for in vitro fertilisation and 23% for egg freezing.
