Experts and industry leaders at The Times of India's Energy Summit 2023 emphasized the imminent achievement of India's target of 500 GW of renewable energy. They highlighted the need for government-industry collaboration and stated that the cost burden of transitioning to renewable energy should primarily fall on developed countries. India's investment in research and development was also emphasized, as it positions the country as both a buyer and developer of renewable technologies.
