Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Centre for Design (ABCD), also known as Project Aatman, in New Delhi. The centre aims to promote indigenous crafts of India and contribute to a sustainable cultural economy. It is housed in a colonial-era barrack on the premises of the Red Fort complex. The inauguration took place during the maiden India Art, Architecture & Design Biennale (IAADB).
