Among those arrested is the leader of an active Isis module, responsible for administering the 'bayath' to newly recruited members. The NIA seized cash, firearms, weapons, documents, smartphones, and digital devices during the raids. The arrested individuals were members of the Isis Maharashtra module and were actively involved in various terrorist activities, including the fabrication of explosive devices. Investigations revealed that they operated from Padgha-Borivali.
The NIA conducted extensive raids in Maharashtra and Karnataka, arresting 15 ISIS operatives involved in terror-related activities. Seized items included cash, weapons, and digital devices. The crackdown aimed to dismantle ISIS networks within India.
