Mumbai train blast accused among 15 IS operatives held
Saturday, 9 December 2023 NIA arrested 15 IS operatives in raids across Maharashtra and Karnataka; firearms, cash, and Hamas flags were seized. The accused operated from Padgha-Borivali and were involved in the fabrication of IEDs. The accused aimed to disturb peace and wage war against the government. They motivated Muslim youths to relocate to Padgha village in rural Thane, declaring it as 'Al Sham'. The main accused administered an oath of allegiance to IS. Other accused were arrested from the Thane district with weapons and cash.
