Cop28: CDRI launches a platform to estimate risks with respect to climate related hazards

The Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) has launched a data platform called the Global Infrastructure Risk Model and Resilience Index (GIRI) in Dubai. GIRI is the world's first publicly available fully probabilistic risk model for major geological and climate-related hazards. CDRI aims to promote the resilience of infrastructure systems to climate and disaster risks and has also unveiled an Urban Infrastructure Resilience Strategy.
