Rajasthan tailor gets PFI death threat 1.5 years after Kanhaiya Lal killing

A tailor named Sohanlal Jatav in Chikani town, Alwar district, Rajasthan, has reported receiving a death threat from the banned Popular Front of India (PFI). Jatav received a handwritten letter about 13 days ago, allegedly from PFI, which contained explicit death and bombing threats. The letter demanded that Jatav vacate his shop by December 31 and threatened to evacuate three shops, claiming they belong to the minority community. Jatav, who purchased the land from the village panchayat in 1971, said that he faced a legal case in the past, but a compromise was reached allowing him to build the shop.
