After the Supreme Court upheld the abrogation of Article 370, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi expressed dissatisfaction. He stated that Kashmir has always been an integral part of India and criticized the division of the state into three Union Territories. Owaisi also warned that the BJP might attempt to make Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai into Union Territories. He argued that the abrogation of Article 370 violated constitutional morality and was a betrayal to the people of Kashmir.
