Six central universities have received Rs 826.28 crore more than last year

Six central universities, including JNU, DU, Jamia, AMU, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, and UoH, have received an additional Rs 826.28 crore compared to last year. The information was shared by the union minister of education in response to a question on balance and funds. The accounts of these universities are audited annually by the C&AG of India. Allocation for JNU, DU, Jamia, AMU, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, and UoH has increased in the last four years.
