Monday, 11 December 2023 Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi take the guarantee of thousands of Kashmiri Pandits returning to the valley before the next polls. He also urged the BJP to treat NCP MP Praful Patel the same as NCP MLA Nawab Malik. Thackeray called for a loan waiver for farmers affected by unseasonal rains and hailstorm. Thackeray emphasized the need for the return of Kashmiri Pandits and referenced Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray's stance on the issue.
