A 25-year-old man with Down Syndrome thwarted a robbery attempt at his home by brandishing a toy gun at two robbers who broke in. The incident occurred on December 6 when the man's younger son was home alone. The robbers entered the house, took money, and approached the son, mistaking him for his mother. Realizing they were robbers, the son aimed his toy gun at them, causing them to flee. The family suspects that the incident was pre-planned and a maid may have been involved.
