Man kills wife, 2 sons before hanging self

IndiaTimes Monday, 11 December 2023
In Devdih village of Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, a 35-year-old man named Shrawan Ram killed his wife and two sons, one of them an infant, before hanging himself from a tree. The motive behind this tragic incident was a family dispute, as mentioned in a suicide note found in Shrawan's pocket. Shrawan's brother-in-law had called the police to report the brutal treatment of his sister and her children by her husband. The police discovered the bodies of the wife and sons, who were murdered with a sharp weapon, near the hanging tree.
