Railway safety on line: 5 kids nabbed for stealing cables

The Railway Protection Force apprehended five children stealing cables and wires from railway coaches, raising safety concerns. The children were not trained by professionals and were solely motivated by making money. They were booked under the Railway Property Act. The coach depot officer expressed concern over organized gangs jeopardizing the safety of coaches and passengers. The RPF's previous reluctance to file FIRs for cable thefts has drawn criticism for diluting law enforcement.
