Jawaharlal Nehru not responsible for Article 370, says Farooq Abdullah
Farooq Abdullah expressed disappointment over the Supreme Court's order upholding the revocation of Article 370, which provided special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The Supreme Court also ordered assembly elections in the region by September-end and restoration of statehood at the earliest. Abdullah criticized the delayed timeline for elections and the absence of a discussion on statehood. He also stated that the responsibility for Article 370 lies with Sardar Patel, not Jawaharlal Nehru
