Tuesday, 12 December 2023 SFI activists protesting against governor Arif Mohammed Khan's vehicle at Raj Bhavan face non-bailable charges under IPC Sections 124 and 353. The governor has asked the state government for a report on the security breach caused by protesters disrupting his motorcade. Cantonment police have registered a case against seven protesters who attempted to disrupt the governor's vehicle. Raj Bhavan insisted on adding Section 124, which deals with attempts to assault the President or governor.
