PM Modi may gift Rs 12,000 crore projects to Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to gift projects worth Rs 12,000 crore to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi during his two-day visit on December 17-18. The PM will inaugurate 17 projects and lay the foundation stone of 11 projects, said Varanasi divisional commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma and added that arrangements for various events, including Kashi Tamil Sangamam, are being finalized. Among the projects to be inaugurated by Modi will be Shivpur-Phulwaria-Lahartara four-lane road project, he said.
