Family feud over South Mumbai eatery reaches court

The Bombay High Court has directed Suresh Poojari, founder of Sukh Sagar restaurant at Girgaum Chowpatty, to appear before it. There is a family feud involving Suresh, his sons Siddharth and Bharat, and his wife Santoshi supported by eldest son Dhanraj. Santoshi filed a habeas corpus petition to produce her husband and allow him to reside peacefully at their shared household in Gandhi building. She also alleged domestic violence and financial misconduct by the sons. The court has previously ordered Dhanraj to vacate the premises at Malabar Hill Club.
