82 YSRCP MLAs may be dropped for 2024 Andhra Pradesh polls

IndiaTimes Friday, 15 December 2023
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister and YSRCP president, has prepared a list of 82 sitting MLAs for reshuffling in the 2024 general and assembly elections. Some MLAs will be sent to Parliament, others will be shuffled between assembly constituencies. However, many will be kept out of the contest due to anticipated anti-incumbency. Jagan conducted a survey and noted the importance of changing sitting MLAs, as some pockets of people are unhappy with their representatives. He has prepared a list of legislators to be dropped, sent to Parliament, or asked to contest from neighboring constituencies.
