Woman, two sons held for house break-in in Mira Road

IndiaTimes Friday, 15 December 2023
In Mira Road, Mumbai, a woman and her two sons were arrested for house break-ins, with the younger son being the mastermind behind the crimes. Shamim Shah (23), a habitual offender with two prior cases, convinced his brother Salim (25) to join him in the break-ins. To avoid suspicion, Shamim later involved his mother Saidunisa (50). The arrests followed a theft in Pleasant Park on December 8, where valuables worth Rs 8 lakh were stolen. The police identified Shamim through CCTV footage, leading to his confession and revelation of his family's involvement.
