Parliament security breach: Soft-spoken tutor Lalit Jha 'never talked politics', was looking for job

IndiaTimes Friday, 15 December 2023
Hatiara, a neighborhood in Kolkata, is shocked to discover that Lalit Jha, a private tutor, is the alleged mastermind behind the smoke canister attack in Parliament. Jha had a rented accommodation in Hatiara and left for Bihar with his family on December 10. He used to tutor and work at a local school but had been unemployed recently. He was even spotted selling vegetables. Despite his quiet nature, he would visit a tea stall for a cup of tea and a smoke. Jha's brother, Shambhu Jha, who works at a garment showroom, was clueless about the plot.
