India and US forge 'Innovation Handshake' to boost startup ecosystems
The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the MoU between India and the United States to enhance innovation ecosystems. This partnership aims to connect the startup ecosystems of both countries and strengthen cooperation in Critical and emerging Technologies (CET). The collaboration was initiated during the 5th India-US Commercial Dialogue and formalized with a Government-to-Government (G2G) MoU. The MoU includes events, round tables, hackathons, and "Open Innovation" programs. Two upcoming events include an investment forum and a hackathon in Silicon Valley. This collaboration will drive technological advancements and create a thriving ecosystem for startups.
