Sari stuck in Metro door, woman pulled for metres & thrown onto tracks, dies

A woman died at Inderlok station in Delhi Metro after her clothes got stuck in the door and she was dragged onto the platform by the train. She suffered severe brain and chest injuries and was taken to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, but was refused admission. She was later admitted at Safdarjung Hospital where she passed away. The commissioner of Metro railway safety will conduct an inquiry into the incident, according to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
