Despite legal stipulation, National Medical Commission members' assets not disclosed

IndiaTimes Sunday, 17 December 2023
The National Medical Commission (NMC) is stalling the publication of declarations of assets by its chairperson and members on its website, despite it being mandated by the NMC Act. This reason for the delay was not communicated to Parliament when questioned about the non-disclosure. The NMC has also ignored multiple RTI queries on the issue. The NMC claims that some officers have reservations about declaring personal information, but this discretion is not allowed under the law.

Rahul Gandhi in U.S: Rahul Tears Into BJP, RSS and Modi Govt in Texas, USA | Oneindia News

Rahul Gandhi, addressing the Indian diaspora in Dallas, claimed that fear of the BJP and Prime Minister Modi has dissipated since the recent Lok Sabha election. He referenced his post-election Parliament speech mentioning 'Abhayamudra', a symbol of fearlessness in Indian religions. Gandhi asserted that the BJP couldn't comprehend this concept. He emphasized that the diminished fear of the ruling party was not his or Congress's achievement, but a significant accomplishment of the Indian people recognizing democracy's power. #RahulGandhi #Dallas #RahulGandhiNews #BJP #PMModi #CongressLive #Oneindia #Oneindianews ~HT.318~PR.320~ED.155~GR.122~
