Karnataka makes masks must for elderly

With Covid cases yet again showing a surge in neighbouring Kerala, the Karnataka government on Monday made face masks mandatory for people above 60 years and also for those with comorbidities. In addition, masks are a must for individuals with symptoms of fever, cold and cough. Karnataka health minister Dinesh Gundurao said in Madikeri that an official order mandating wearing of face masks, along with other guidelines, will be issued after a meeting with the technical advisory committee (TAC) in the evening.
