Haryana reported 5 rapes a day till Nov 30 this year

Haryana Police continue to be concerned about the decline in crimes against women, gangrapes, and robberies in 2022 compared to last year. The state reported 1,701 rapes and 3,871 kidnappings between January 1 and November 30, with a daily average of 5.15 and 11.73 incidents, respectively. In terms of crimes against women, Haryana saw 10,946 cases this year, a significant decrease from the 16,743 cases reported in 2022. Additionally, incidents of gangrape decreased from 180 to 139, and crimes against the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes communities declined from 1,633 to 1,378.
