USV and Biogenomics launch country's first biosimilar Insulin 'Aspart'

Drug firm USV and bio-tech company Biogenomics have launched INSUQUICK, India's first biosimilar Insulin Aspart. INSUQUICK is a 'Make in India' product, developed and manufactured using indigenous technology, and has undergone rigorous clinical testing. It is now available in all metros, Tier I/II cities, and comes in cartridges, vials, and prefilled disposable pens. This launch aims to improve access to insulin for people with diabetes in India, where 101 million adults have diabetes and 136 million are at risk of developing it.
