Amnesty FCRA 'violations': CBI files supplementary charge sheet

The CBI has filed a supplementary charge sheet in connection with its probe against Amnesty International India Pvt Ltd and its then executive director Aakar Patel for alleged FCRA violations. The charge sheet provides details about the role of other directors and signatories involved. The agency has charge-sheeted eight entities, including Patel, AIIPL, IAIT, and the then directors of AIIPL. The special court had asked the agency to investigate the role of other directors after the first report. In its supplementary charge sheet, the CBI has corroborated the allegations of its FIR.
