Talks soon as BJP looks to field HD Kumaraswamy in LS polls

BJP and JD(S) are expediting the seat-sharing process for the Lok Sabha polls. JD(S) leaders are expected to meet PM Modi and Amit Shah to discuss the poll strategy. The BJP is considering fielding Kumaraswamy and offering him a ministerial berth. The goal is to win all 28 seats in Karnataka and repeat the 2019 performance. The alliance aims to counter the Congress's consolidation of support from Dalit and Muslim communities.
