3 die with Covid in Bengaluru in a week

Three Covid-19 deaths have been reported in Bengaluru, Karnataka in the last week. However, the state has not recorded any cases of the JN.1 variant so far. The deaths were linked to comorbidity, with the patients having severe acute respiratory infection, ischemic heart disease, and Covid-19 symptoms. The state reported 22 fresh Covid-19 cases, with 19 in Bengaluru, and the number of active cases in Karnataka is now 92. The positivity rate in the state stands at 2.47%.
