Naval exercise Milan- 2024 to be held at Visakhapatnam, 50 countries likely to participate

The 12th edition of the Multilateral Naval Exercise - 2024 (Milan) is set to take place at Visakhapatnam from February 19 to 27. The exercise is expected to have the largest-ever participation, with over 50 countries and nearly 20 ships from friendly nations. The event, which was initiated by the Indian Navy in 1995, has expanded over the years to include participation from other Friendly Foreign Countries (FFCs). The exercise will involve various activities, including a maritime seminar, city parade, exhibition, and expert exchanges. Ships and aircraft from both Indian Navy and Friendly Foreign Countries will participate in advanced naval operations.
