Don't have Aadhaar? Go for passport-like verification first

The state government will now carry out the Aadhaar verification process, which was previously done by UIDAI. The verification process will be similar to getting a passport. Aadhaar enrollment will only be available at select centers, and the demographic information will be sent to state authorities for verification. The state authorities have the right to reject the enrollment application if the documents are found to be forged. These guidelines apply to residents above 18 years of age getting their Aadhaar made for the first time.
