Residents of Bandra are pleading for the return of the beloved Festival at the Steps, which takes place on the St. Stephen's Steps leading up to Mount Mary's church. The festival, which features a variety of activities, has been a winter spectacle since the steps were transformed into an open-air space in 2019. However, the festival faces opposition from a few residents of the Mount Mary ALM, who have raised concerns about noise and traffic disruption. Despite efforts to secure permissions, the festival is currently in limbo.
