Congress' new National Alliance Committee holds its first meeting

The National Alliance Committee (NAC) of the Congress held its first meeting in New Delhi. The committee will now hold meetings with state leaders to decide on seat sharing for the 2024 parliamentary polls. The NAC, comprising senior leaders, was formed to negotiate with INDIA bloc allies. Discussions with senior leaders in state committees will be held to decide the way forward. Members of the NAC include Ashok Gehlot, Bhupesh Baghel, Salman Khurshid, and Mohan Prakash.
