Indian Navy closely monitoring situation in Arabian Sea after suspected drone attack

The Indian Navy swiftly responded to a maritime incident involving a missile or drone attack on MT Chem Pluto in the Arabian Sea. The vessel, with 22 crew members, was reported on fire but all crew members are safe and the fire has been extinguished. The Indian Navy diverted a maritime patrol aircraft and the naval ship Mormugao to assess the situation and provide assistance. They communicated with the crew and conveyed details to Indian maritime agencies for necessary assistance. The Navy remains committed to ensuring the safety of merchant shipping in the region.
